First workout - DONE

I have another blog where I have started my journey on losing weight, but for some reason I can't copy and paste the last entries. So I'll rehash here.

I'm a 26 year old stay at home mom of 3 kids. We have a vacation booked for Cancun in 2 months and I'm currently 20 pounds over my ideal weight. I'm 5'5" and 158 pounds. I hope to be at least 140 by the time I HAVE to go buy a swimsuit.

Lately I've been cutting my portions down. I used to eat as much (if not more) than my husband, but now I'm down to about half as much. I've started doing little exercises around the house and I have lost some weight, but I was not on track for my goal. I'd lost about 4 pounds in a month that way.

My goofy little exercises are little things I can do while I'm going through my day. I do sideways and back leg lifts while brushing my teeth, isolation exercises in the shower, pushups against the counter while making meals, tricep dips on the arm of the couch while watching tv, lunges and squats while folding clothes and just tightening my abs as much as possible. I've also been walking our two boxers (seperately because my husband's dog is an idiot) at least ever other day, but it's been more often than that.

My husband ordered the P90X and we recieved it yesterday. I'm really excited and nervous. I popped the Introductory DVD in this morning and managed to almost finish the UML bonus workout. After typing this and my last entry, I am feeling better, but my word, it was crazy insane. I think I finished about 80% of the workout which is more than I thought I could.

My goal for this week is to keep up with this blog, keep in touch with my trainer, and increase my water intake. I've been slacking lately. A liter by lunch is going to be my mantra. Oh, and I need to take pictures and find my measuring tape.
